We have the VRA Certification!
Over the last week Autospares Vehicle Recycling has become one of a handful of companies to be certified by Vehicle Recyclers Association.
What is the VRA certification?
The VRA certification is a Standard that indicates quality, transparency and demonstrates methods used to ensure quality products. Methods such as parts grading, testing and recall checks are part of the certification which Autospares and Salvage has demonstrated to an independant auditor that we use and record.
What does this mean to the public?
By achieving the pass of this standard, it means that whenever you buy a part from Autospares, you can be rest assured that it has been quality tested and checked for recalls. Your piece of mind and safety is at the forefront of how we work. If it doesn’t conform to our high standards, we will not supply it. Our bonnets, bumpers, doors and wings are all graded showing and highlighting any scratches, dents or damage and are imaged. You will know exactly how many areas of damage there are on our panels just by the grade. A grade = 0 or 1 area of damage, B grade = 2-3 areas of damage, C grade = 4 or more areas of damage (the term damage, but this generally equates to small scratches or small dents). Panels that have too many areas are simply not re-sold.
All of our non mechanical/electrical parts come with a 12 month guarantee as standard. All of our mechanical parts and electrical parts have a 90 day guarantee.
We are super proud of our staff by buying into the process of getting this certificate. We have all been on a journey together in achieveing the VRAC certification and we are proud to say we have it. You can see the VRAC here at vracertification.org
